ROOM 5: THE ORANGERIE

A little corner of the studio where it was always summer. and some of the things we used to create a feeling of elsewhere...

The balustrade could conjure a faded Italian terrace; a scattering of moss, a garden floor; palms and greenery, an overgrown conservatory. And, of course, there were our backdrops - the finishing touch to the illusion.

Many of these well-travelled props are now looking for new homes, while The Orangerie backdrop itself will remain available to order.
