Where competitions and special offers are advertised on our website additional terms and conditions may apply:

Upon placing an order with us, it would be deemed that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any part of these terms and Conditions, you should contact customer services before placing an order, either by phone on +44 (0)333 200 7371 or by emailing, or by post at our address shown below.

By placing an order through our website, you are making an offer to An Angel at my Table Ltd, t/a to purchase the goods listed in your order upon the terms described. In order to process/accept an order, we will require the following information: your name, address, email address and contact phone number as well as your credit/debit card details. We may, in order to contact you, provide our couriers with your contact phone number. Without this information we will be unable to process your order. We will not debit your account until goods are in stock and ready to dispatch. Our contract for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and been dispatched to you.

Please note, we will not be able to meet any obligations as a result of the following:
In order to keep you informed of offers and latest information, we may use your contact details to advise of the aforementioned, if you would prefer not to receive this information, please advise us by sending an email to, or by calling +44 (0)333 200 7371.

Please note that whilst we make every effort and take reasonable care to keep your order payment and details secure, we cannot be responsible for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any information that you supply when accessing or ordering from our website.

For furniture and some large/delicate accessories a 50% deposit is required upon ordering (excluding all sale items where full payment is required upon ordering) This deposit is non-refundable after a fourteen day period, except at the company's discretion and in cases of force majeure.  We require payment of the balance prior to delivery.

We undertake to ensure that all reasonable care is taken when detailing prices and descriptions of website products and that they are accurate at the time when the appropriate information was entered on our system. Whilst we endeavour to update the website and to ensure that the information is as accurate as possible, there may be occasions when the information on the website (including product descriptions) may not reflect the position exactly at the time an order is placed. Please note that we are unable to confirm the price of a product until your order is accepted, in line with our order acceptance conditions.

We endeavour to deliver all furniture within 2 to 8 weeks. We will wherever possible advise you of any anticipated additional delay when you place your order.

NB: Please check access for the furniture/items you are ordering, as it is entirely your responsibility to ascertain that access is possible.  If access depends on a precise dimension, please ask for a dimension check, as all dimensions are approximate and variations may occur, particularly in handcarved ranges.  If our delivery personnel judge that an item may not fit into or through the designated access space or that they may incur physical injury or risk damage to the item or your property, then we reserve the right to leave the item in a safe and convenient alternative location. In exceptional circumstances, and entirely at our discretion, we may consider the return of a custom made/painted/upholstered product, however there will be a 30% restocking fee plus any carriage charges.

Please note: our premium delivery service is a 'two man white glove service', who will place your furniture in the room of your choice, open and remove all packaging. At this point, it is your responsibility to check and ensure that you are entirely happy with your purchase, prior to signing the proof of delivery and before the delivery team leave your premises. If, for any reason, you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us immediately, or, advise the delivery drivers to contact us, in order to discuss your concerns and to agree if the item(s) need to be returned to us. If we have to arrange a return collection at a later date this will result in an additional charge. Any damage to the furniture must be reported at the time of delivery and clearly noted on the proof of delivery. The products will be at your risk from the time of delivery and when you have signed the proof of delivery.

In the event of any damage reported at the time of delivery, we can offer a discount (at our discretion) and advice on remedying the problem - or, if the furniture is within the Greater London area and most Home Counties, we can offer a snagging service. Unfortunately, although we offer a nationwide delivery service, our snagging service is limited to the areas described above.

Please ensure that you provide adequate protection to all floor or floor coverings, remove pictures and ornaments that could possibly be damaged whilst attempting delivery, as neither ourselves, nor the appointed delivery company, can accept any responsible for damage to flooring or other items.

Prior to dispatch, all furniture is assembled and checked on a level surface in our workshops, to ensure that all doors and drawers open and close smoothly and that doors are hung correctly. Uneven floorboards/floor coverings/carpets etc, however slight, can effect the smooth functioning of doors and drawers, but are not deemed to be a product malfunction; this can be simply rectified using shims or wedges and although we are happy to advise on a potential solution, please note that this is not the responsibility of our company.

Our furniture is made predominantly from pine which is a natural, living material of which wood grain and knots are an integral part, it also means that each piece of furniture is unique and no two items are perfectly identical.  As wood is a natural material, susceptible to damp and heat, it is very important to care for it, extending its life and preserving its original nature, preventing discolouration, cracking and lesions. And as we would like you enjoy this furniture for as long as possible, we recommend the following:
Two-part furniture: whilst the top section of wardrobes and dressers are designed to sit securely onto their bases, we highly recommend fixing the top section to the wall or to the base for additional stability - please contact us if you require any further advice.

Whilst our chest of drawers are traditionally made and hence correctly proportioned and balanced (ie the carcass is of sufficient weight to counterbalance the drawers unless they are overloaded or climbed on - for example by an inquisitive toddler), we suggest securing to the wall with brackets such as 'Baby Dan', if you have any concerns about toppling. Please contact us if you require any further advice.

Please advise us when ordering large accessories or furniture items if you require delivery to an address that is not your main residence, or if you require specific delivery days/times as this may incur an additional delivery/storage charge.

We take great care to ensure that the description and specification of our products is correct at the time of publishing - however, specifications and descriptions of products on this website are not intended to be binding and are intended only to give a general description of the products. The colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used to view the products.

Please note: handpainted swatches and painted wood samples are a close representation of the final colour and although each batch of paint is mixed to the same recipe, slight tonal variations may occur between batches.

Due to the large variety of products available on our website and hugely fluctuating prices, we provide shipping quotes on a case by case basis. We provide individual quotes for the most competitive rate available on the day. International shipping quotes are valid for 48 hours due to price fluctuations. Orders shipped outside the European Union are not subject to VAT, however, local taxes and customs charges may apply, for which we cannot be responsible. All quotes are provided in £ Sterling (GBP - Great British Pounds) and not in your local currency.

In an attempt to combat credit card fraud; if you choose to pay by card, wherever possible, we will obtain card verification from your bank.

Goods can only be delivered to the address at which the card is registered.
Our parcels are very carefully packed prior to dispatch, however, we are unable to accept responsibility for damage/return of fragile items dispatched outside the UK, as international courier services will not provide insurance for breakage of such items.

Please note that custom-made and painted to order items are non-returnable unless faulty, as they are made/painted & upholstered specifically to your own individual requirements. Please check your order carefully before purchasing, to ensure that you are ordering the correct colour/fabric/size etc. We recommend always requesting paint swatches and fabric samples before confirming your colour/fabric choice.

We hope that you will be delighted with your order, however, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with you purchase simply return it to us within 14 working days for a full refund or exchange - items must be unused and returned in their original packaging. We recommend that you use insured, registered delivery service and obtain proof of purchase, as we cannot accept responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the original delivery charge or the return postage unless the item(s) are faulty, in which case we will reimburse you in full.

If you are not happy with the items you have chosen, you may cancel this contract under the Distance Selling Regulations, provided that you exercise your right within fourteen working days of receiving the product - all custom-made and customised items excluded.

Our painted finishes (unlike factory spray-finishes) allow the character of the woodgrain to show. Our furniture is made from pine, beech, selected sustainable hardwoods and mdf - please note that exposure to excessive heat and/or humidity may exceptionally cause some swelling of drawers or shrinking and splitting of panels which can be easily rectified but are not deemed to be reason for refund, as they are natural occurences beyond our control. Should you require specific advice on aftercare for any problems please contact us; see under Furniture Notes for general advice on aftercare.

Failure to deliver within the estimated time is not considered as grounds for cancellation.

Should you wish to cancel your order prior to dispatch, (custom-made and customised items excluded) please contact customer services on +44 (0)333 200 7371 or email, please note, once the order has been processed and your card charged, we reserve the right to deduct transaction charges from your refund. This does not affect your statutory rights. If your order has already been dispatched, provided it is returned undamaged, unopened and in its original packaging within 14 days we will of course refund you in full. Please ensure that you check all items upon receipt and notify us of faulty or damaged items within 7 days.
